1966 Westerly Sailboat-25ft

This is one of two Westerly's I could find in the US out of 180 boats built in the UK. She was designed to sail the North Sea and English Channel which has very rough weather and big seas to match. LOA 25'6", beam 8'4", draft 2'6",mast clearance 35', displacement 3820 lbs. She has been in storage for 11 years but now has a freshly painted interior. Her old world Honduras Mahagony interior is now exstinct, a very rare and beautiful wood. Her sails; mainsail and 120% jib are in very good shape. Stantions, lfelines, bow and stern pulpits are in good shape. She takes no water through her windows and her bilge is bone dry. Her hand opperated Gusher bilge pump works well but is never used. She needs an outboard from 6hp to 9.9 HP. She needs topside and bottom paint. This is a coastal cruiser and all lines lead to the cockpit for solo off-shore use if desired.
